Culmination Collab Brew /京A携手Culmination合作酿制!
The final stop on our Summer '16 tour of Oregon was at Culmination Brewing, a young brewery that has been making waves in the Portland craft beer scene since its launch in early 2015. Culmination founder Tom Sluiter puts a strong emphasis on sustainability, and for our collaboration we brewed a gose using what was in season... delicious local nectarines! We combined the fruit with sichuan peppercorns and a pinch of salt... and we can't wait to see how it turns out.
For our fans in Beijing, we're sorry to be teasing you with all these overseas brews - we'll be lucky if down the line we get to try a growler or two of these beers ourselves!
The good news is that we've all returned to Beijing, and now it's time to apply what we learned over the Summer to some new beers back in our hometown! So look out because we'll be getting creative with some seasonal and one-off beers as we head into another exciting Autumn of craft beer!
接着上回京A两位创始人的美国俄勒冈之旅咱继续唠,这最后一站来到Culmination酒坊不是。虽然2015年初才开张,但这个团队已经在波特兰精酿圈内刮起了一阵小龙卷,靠的就是创始人Tom Sluiter和他的小伙伴们对品质的坚持和对本地优质原材料的创意运用。这次我们的合作就使用了当地美味的油桃、来自四川的胡椒,另外还加入了一些盐……发挥你们的想象力吧!我都不知道该怎么形容了:(
说了这么多,要跟大家说声抱歉。因为有点光说不练的感觉,什么时候能把这批酒带回国内还难说。但也有好消息,京A团队的所有成员都已经归队了,我们将把这个夏天的学习收获运用到接下来的酿制中,延续京A创新的“优良传统”,保证让大伙儿“秋不醉人人自醉”!
